I showed my friends, Jim and Ruth, some of my photographs. Then, they asked me to shoot some portraits of them. We did in May 2007. I gave them a set of prints from our shoot. They liked them and asked me to print more sets, which they gave to their families for Father’s Day presents. I liked that.
Jim was suffering from a terminal illness when we did our shoot, and has subsequently died. He was a good guy, and I miss him.
