From the first real photoshoot for me, and the first time Keira Grant had experienced ropes and shibari. It was great. I am blessed to have the opportunities to work with beautiful models like Keira, who are also awesome and wonderful people. I am proud and happy to call Keira, my friend.
I showed my friends, Jim and Ruth, some of my photographs. Then, they asked me to shoot some portraits of them. We did in May 2007. I gave them a set of prints from our shoot. They liked them and asked me to print more sets, which they gave to their families for Father’s Day presents. I liked that.
Jim was suffering from a terminal illness when we did our shoot, and has subsequently died. He was a good guy, and I miss him.
Here is a behind the scenes video showing how this group of friends used a conventional climbing harness to create a cool picture. They wanted to create a picture that made it look like someone was being abducted by aliens. I think they did a great job.
This video was submitted in the recent Fstoppers Behind The Scenes contest.
I am selling my 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. If you are interested in buying this car, please send me a personal message.
I bought it in 1996 and had extensive body and paint work done on it. We took it down to bare metal and made it straight. The body and paint was hand sanded with 2500 grit sandpaper. When it was finished, I liked to say – “You can read the serial numbers on 100 dollar bills reflected in the moonlight from the side of my car.”
I had a lot of fun with this car, both on the highways and as a featured car in parades. It always attracted attention.
In 2000, I had its engine rebuilt by Thunderbolt Engine and Transmissions in Houston, Texas. Thunderbolt’s owner asked me if they could use it in their next TV commercial. Here is a video of their TV commercial with my car.
Here are more recent pictures. A little work will bring this beautiful 36 year old classic car back to its fun filled glory days.
I have extras — like a replacement trunk lid and uninstalled new carpets.
Please notice the fiberglass parade boot which you can see in the TV commercial. It adds a wonderful finishing touch to its top down classic beauty.
